So, first of all you may have noticed we have a brand new website! We’ve designed this with you in mind and hope you’ll be able to find everything you need to plan your festival and have a great time with your neighbours, friends and family this summer.
We have added some great new features including an easy to navigate events calender and our all new SouthWestFest Blog! We’ll be using this space to tell you all about what we’ve been up to, what new and exciting events we have planned and how we hope to develop the Festival for the future.
EVENTS | STALLS | PERFORMING | VOLUNTEERING
You can be a part of this year’s Festival by hosting your own event, if you have something you’d like to contribute to your community please send us your entries here, we’d love to hear from you! Each year our Festival brochure goes out to 10’000 homes and businesses in SW1 and to make sure we can include your event we need to have your submissions before Midday Friday 22nd April, community events are an important part of our diverse SouthWestFest programming, so if you’re planning on hosting an event please fill out this form before the deadline and don’t forget, if you need any advice just email firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll get in touch!
Hosting an event during the festival isn’t the only way you can get involved this year! Our applications for performing, volunteering and becoming a stallholder are now open, if you would like to sell crafts, clothes, cakes or have something special you’d like to promote to the local community, please apply here and we will get back to you with further information soon.
If you think you can wow our crowds and would like to showcase your talent at SouthWestFest, please register your interest here, and we will be in touch in April when we begin programming our live events.
Without our fantastic events volunteers we couldn’t make SouthWestFest happen and this year is no exception. Whether you want to spend an afternoon with us or make a long-term commitment to become a Festival Volunteer Lead or a Festival Trustee, volunteers are vital to SouthWestFest and without them we simply couldn’t make it all happen! If you can spare some time, or have a skill you think could help us make the Festival great, please let us know by filling in this form!
Production of our annual Festival brochure is well under way, and we’ll be distributing this at the beginning of May, so keep an eye out for your copy! Once we’ve finalised our events programme at the end of April you’ll be able to buy tickets online and in several local businesses in Pimlico, but don’t worry we’ll let you know when they go on sale so you don’t miss out!
