SouthWestFest is a volunteer-led charity. Without you – our amazing volunteers, there would be no festival!
There are plenty of different ways you can volunteer with us; Â as a Trustee or a lead volunteer who helps us with the planning and development of the festival.
As work experience, work placements to gain more practical experience in events and community arts and projects.

Sign up and promote your own event as part of SouthWestFest! Register an event/workshop/activity as part of SouthWestFest. Our festival dates are between the 29th of June and the 21st of July. The festival is open access and we encourage local community groups, organisations, artists, creatives and individuals to host their own events as part of this community celebration.
Register your event and it will be advertised in our brochure which is distributed to over 10,000 homes and people, and on our website, visited by thousands during June and July.
However we do ask that events registered in the brochure are either free or very low cost and we retain the right to not promote events we feel are un-affordable activities. This is because the aim of the festival is to get local community members out into the area to try new activities and learn about groups, services and venues around where they live.
The festival team produces our main outdoor events the Pimlico Proms and the Community Festival Day on the 29th of June and the 21st of July and other events take place as part of the festival in the weeks after.
Please provide the information requested below in order for us to list your event in our festival brochure. Please ensure all spelling is correct as this information will be used for the print copy of our brochure and flyers.
