About the performance: Join us for the final event of our Digital Festival programme! Dodie developed this project in response to the Festival’s theme of happiness, thinking about the idea of ‘happiness’, and how can be difficult to feel in this pandemic.
Happiness is a feeling, but can we make it? Can we perform it? Can we fake it til’ we make it? Can we manifest it?
The lasting effects of coronavirus on individuals and communities will be felt long after lockdown lifts – the project explores whether we can create a resource for producing happiness.
Dodie has been collecting feedback on what ‘happiness’ looks like to you, and how it impacts your movements and created an instruction manual on ‘how to perform happiness’ based on the research we found. Since then she has been working with SW1 locals to create their own short remotely recorded responses to the instruction manual.
Join us for this exploration and celebration of happiness!
