About this event: Through sharing stories based on poetry and songs, we are inviting communities to come together to collectively imagine a better future and build resilience and hope. TELL MY STORY… will consist of Palewell Press panel discussion: how writing can help a person’s emotional journey, a conversation with Juan delGado on how art can bring communities together, Rawanee’s community of poets will share a story written as a series of poems and recited theatrical style. The event will end with Qisetna, Palewell Press and Rawanee bringing the communities together to share poetry songs, videos and collaborative poetry recitations speaking to hope and unity.
