SouthWestFest is an award-winning open access cultural and community festival. 2024’s Festival will run from 6th – 21st July, with events taking place across the two and half weeks.
We support local organisations and people to run their own events throughout the festival, through our Open Access programme.

Volunteer Opportunities
Join the team
SouthWestFest is a volunteer-led charity. Without you – our amazing volunteers, there would be no festival. There are plenty of different ways you can volunteer with us;
As a Trustee or a lead volunteer who helps us with the planning and development of the festival.
As work experience, we offer day work placements at our events to gain more practical experience in events and community arts and projects.
Or as an on the day volunteer helping us at our events and with our promotional activities.

Through our festival programme we collaborate with and showcase the work of our 70+ partner organisations and groups.
We are always looking for opportunities to develop innovative and exciting cultural and community projects with other organisations.
